On December 7th, 1941, the "dogs of war" where unleached in the Pacific.
The surprise attack on the United States gave japan a strategic advantage,
allowing it to advance across much of the Pacific. But, the advantage proved
temporary, as the Allied forces were able to regroup and stop the Japanese just
north of Australia. For the Allies, however, this was only the beginning of a
long, hard road, which would require the reconquest of almost a sixth of the
Earth's surface. Undaunted, the United States Marine Corps assumed the mission
of spearheading this historic drive. With The Proud and the Few, relive
those glorious moments and epic battles forever part of Marine history, and,
from Guadalcanal to Okinawa, join in the fight to ultimate victory.
