August 1943 is a desperate time for the RAF Bomber Command and the
German Nightfighter Command. The first One thousand plane raid has
already taken place. Hamburg and key cities within the Ruhr have
been the recent targets of devastating attacks. RAF Bomber Command,
although appearing invincible, has suffered heavy losses from the
deadly combination fo tenacious German nightfighter pilots and
deadly flak. The battered bomber groups struggle to maintain
operational reainess and morale so they can continue to prosecute
their campaign of destruction. The Germans, reeling from the attacks
and flying, in many cases, second rate airplanes, struggle to inflict
unacceptable losses on the bombers in an effort to save their cities
and the lives of the civilians that will certainly perish if they are
unsuccessful. In a desperate bid to overcome the increasing odds of
failure, both sides turn to the development of new technologies and
create new dotrine to exploit the technology in a bold effort to gain
and mainnntain superiority over the opponent. You have just accepted
command of the forces. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN?
